Being good at video games is one of the most under-appreciated skills. When it comes to rhythm games like Guitar Hero, people often scoff at the mere mention of skill and promptly direct people to places where they can learn how to play a real guitar. Personally, we've been fans of the series since day one, and based on our experience with the game, we think the following people are quite skilled at playing Guitar Hero and deserve a mention in our Guitar Hero Rock Hall of Fame.

Gods of Guitar Hero List

This list is not intended to hurt your self-esteem or discourage you. Quite to the contrary this list is here purely to inspire you to get better at those tough songs.

1. "Psychobilly Freakout" by Reverend Horton Heat

This is a story of the 8-year old that could. While the song is not executed perfectly, even finishing it at 95% on expert is nearly impossible for most human beings.



2. "YYZ" – by Rush

His name is Freddie and you better watch out because his soul is so blisteringly fast that he has to chain it down. Watch him as he rocks the world:



3. "Through the Fire and Flames" – by DragonForce

You think it's impossible? Well then Conrad is just going to have to prove you wrong. And for all of you that think Conrad has no life, well he has a smoking hot girlfriend, a steady job, and plays a real guitar just as well.



4. "Monkey Wrench" – Foo Fighters

What's better than an 8-year old rockin' your brains out? You guessed it, a 5-year old rocking your brains out. Sure he might not be as good as the 8-year old, but give him three years!




5. "Knights of Cydonia" – Muse

Stop your complaining and learn from the master.
