Video Game Industry: A look at the increasing Nintendo NES
In 1985, the U.S. game console market was almost dead. Even popular games such as Pac Man and Asteroids were not doing well in the arcade. What brought the market down was the flood of cheap imitation titles entered into the distribution of a couple of years before selling a two to three dollars wildly each. The low quality of these games put a black mark in the industry video games. The saturation makes it difficult, even for the quality of the game to get your name made public, in general, forcing it to close its doors permanently.
This decline continued until a cork Japanese company approached him in the mix. Nintendo broke into the console market in Japan in 1983, breaking with Famicom or NES in the U.S.. With a fall in the U.S. console market, many farmers are abandoning the console industry. former players the Colcovision Intellivision and simply no longer sold. It proved to be the ideal situation for the console that started in the United States.
In late 1985, stores had the NES for sale and was instantly a success. Breathing life back into the industry, many game makers were eager to create games for this console new. They also introduced the concept of security tokens cartridges. This led to protection against hackers and made it so only their console could play NES games. Nintendo had a lot of tactics heavy-handed to get stronger in the top of the gaming industry. These tactics later became the subject of scrutiny for many years later, but no doubt that Nintendo was a company that uses opportunistic everything in its power to enter the video game industry. They may have been hidden, but the company is a of the few from that era still standing.
